BEST RECEPTION EVER! Literally had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The NOPSI is a beautiful venue, a swanky and luxurious hotel in NOLA, and their staff is second to none! After having to reschedule our wedding 3 times due to COVID and Hurricane Ida, Alisha and Jennifer at the NOPSI made it easy to get us finally married. They threw us the biggest party and made us feel like rockstars our entire stay. Would give a 10/5 stars if I could. Highly recommend!

The Nopsi was by far the best place to host a wedding! We loved having all our guest have the opportunity to stay close to where the wedding was held. Communication with the staff – both Jennifer and Alisha was some of the best customer service ever experienced! The food was delish and a whole experience in itself. The rooms were perfect for guest to take a break from the party if needed, but the main ballroom was just stunning and perfect for our big day! Can’t say enough good things about the The NOPSI!!

Ashley and Doug’s New Orleans destination wedding was filled with beautiful and emotional moments. Their perfect day culminated in a grand reception at Dryades Ballroom, capped off with a traditional New Orleans Second Line send-off. With a live jazz band leading the way, dancing wedding guests paraded down the streets of the Crescent City and cheered as the bride and groom were swept off in a classic car. Every detail was taken care of by the NOPSI Hotel team so that Ashley and Doug could focus on enjoying this momentous day.
In the bride’s own words:
“There was a moment in the second line that Doug and I were leading the way with all of our favorite people in the world behind us. The wind is blowing hard, the band is pumping music, and the atmosphere is electric. I looked behind us to see everyone dancing and singing and having the best time, when all of the sudden all of my best friends, bridesmaids, come running towards us to help us lead the line. It was incredible and something I will never forget…
My advice to other couples: Take time to slow down and enjoy every little second. I made a very conscious decision to not worry about anything because every little thing would work itself out and to soak in every moment! And I did that, I took in every moment. I enjoyed my morning and day with my best friends and mom. I never wished the minutes away and enjoyed the moment I was in throughout the day. It made the biggest difference.”
